GMSL acts as an agent for a wide variety of clients either outside office hours or 24/7. We run each portfolio in accordance with instructions that have been agreed with the client detailing actions to be taken in response to events in the portfolio or in the wider market. Our work includes production, storage and transit nominations, capacity booking, trading on exchanges, after the day activities and much else besides
Our clients value our service because we focus on carrying out the routine functions while they focus setting the strategy.
Software
GMSL produces software to make gas dispatching easier. We have two portfolio management products, EuroRunner and CodeRunner, and two messaging/interface products, ENOM for Edig@s messaging and InForm for web interfaces. EuroRunner is designed to be capable of managing multi-network operations and is currently used in the Fluxys, GTS, Gassco, Interconnector (UK), National Grid and Ruhrgas networks. CodeRunner is designed for managing UK shipper portfolios.
GMSL develops software to assist in gas operations but GMSL is also the biggest user of the software developed through our operations services. We understand the challenges that operations software must cope with because we have first hand experience and we need the software to be up to date because we use it too.
