GMSL software upgrades to comply with new GtS network rules
Gas Transport Services B.V. (GTS), the Netherlands gas transmission system operator will be changing to a new balancing regime and market model from 1st April 2011.
GTS plan to carry out joint testing with the shipper community during 2010. The testing will be in 2 stages:
- Message exchange certification; and
- Process validity testing.
Message exchange certification will start in June 2010 and is aimed at ensuring the protocol and syntax of messages is correct. Certification is mandatory for the POS and SBS message services and the programme and bid price ladder messages. Process validity testing will start in October 2010 and will be aimed at testing processes and scenarios.
GMSL will be working closely with GTS during this time to ensure that our software products are fully operational with the new balancing regime and market model and that shippers using our software pass the message exchange certification.
More specifically, ENOM and ENOM+ will be enhanced to support:
- Sending nominations and receiving confirmations in Edigas 4 XML.
- Sending programmes and receiving confirmations.
- Sending and receiving bid price ladder messages.
EuroRunner will be enhanced to support:
- Sending nominations and receiving confirmations in Edigas 4 XML.
- Sending programmes and receiving confirmations.
- Calculating the programme from forecasts and damping.
- Display of POS and SBS.
As well as the above we will be evaluating customer requirement for supporting:
- Within ENOM:
- Sending and receiving balancing agreement messages.
- Within ENOM+:
- Programme matching functionality.
- Within EuroRunner
- Sending and receiving bid price ladder messages.
- Sending and receiving balancing agreement messages.
- Comparing confirmed program with forecasts.
