AS2 Edig@s Routing Service

10/02/2010
Introduction

The European Association for Streamlining Energy Exchanges (EASEE-gas) has agreed a Common Business Practice which recommends the migration of Edig@s message transport from the current FTP over ISDN lines to AS2 over the Internet. Shippers who currently send messages to the TSOs via their own ISDN lines will need to implement an AS2 solution by 1st July 2010.

Existing Routing Clients

All ENOM and ENOM+ clients who use our routing service will experience no change to the service - all the AS2 implementation and messaging will be handled on GMSL servers with no interruption to routing.

GMSL routing service

Clients not currently using the GMSL routing service should consider switching to use this poular service.

  • No need to replace your existing solution with an AS2 implementation : Our routing service is based on FTP over the Internet, which means that you can continue to use your existing solution, removing the need to implement your own AS2 solution and also eliminating the need to maintain direct connections with other counterparties, such as ISDN lines or leased lines.
  • Messages delivered securely : We support SFTP, allowing messages to be sent securely using SSH encryption.
  • Confirmation of delivered messages : We also supply delivery confirmation messages to tell you when your messages have been successfully routed to the third party.
  • Low cost solution : We charge a low annual fee per communicant - please contact us for a quotation.
