GMSL Power Software
01/08/2009GMSL is currently developing a system for managing power notifications to National Grid. In common with all GMSL software, it has been designed using our first hand knowledge of the requirements of an operations team and will incoroporate not only the required messaging functionality but also a portfolio matching and balancing module. The first phase of the system is due to be completed in Q3 2009 with later phases planned to increase the scope and cover more grids (for example RWE, RTE, Elia, Tennet). Gemini outage
10/07/2009GMSL Operations Team successfullly coped with the unplanned Gemini outage on 9th July. The team used CodeRunner to track each of its client portfolios and generate contingency nomination formats.
GMSL signs Centrica software deal
13/06/2009GMSL has finalised and is now implementing a contract to provide Centrica with its gas scheduling software products CodeRunner and EuroRunner. Following a detailed specification phase where GMSL worked closely with Centrica and their consultants Baringa (formerly Structure Group) a substantial programme was agreed to enhance the functionality of CodeRunner and EuroRunner to meet the demanding needs of Centrica's UK and continental European gas businesses and their operations team. Included in the development is a full two way interface to Endur, the OpenLink trading and risk management system currently being implemented by Centrica.
